Alison Hearst, Fort Worth :: received an Oklahoma Art Writing and Curatorial Fellowship. She is a curatorial research assistant at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, co-founder of experimental art collaborative “Subtext Projects,” and a regular contributor to Art Critical, Art Lies and Glasstire. The new yearlong fellowship program — presented by the Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition in partnership with the University of Oklahoma School of Art & Art History and the Oklahoma City Museum of Art — includes mentors from the art world to encourage new writing that engages audiences in contemporary art.
