Pat Van Burkleo, Baton Rouge, La., who attended UNT from 1979 to 1983, is executive director of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Baton Rouge. He received the John W. Barton Sr. Excellence in Nonprofit Management Award from the Baton Rouge Area Foundation.

Debbie Cannon Krauth (’91), Newnan, Ga., and her husband adopted a daughter, Paige Margaret Krauth, in March. Paige was born Li Guo Qian in China in May 2006. She was welcomed home by her big sister, Carly, 5.
Kathryn Martin Poe, Dallas, was named an associate fellow of the Society for Technical Communication. She is the documentation specialist for Corprasoft Inc. in Dallas.

Kathleen Eads, Plano, director of financial services for NSTN, has been involved with the credit and collections industry for 20 years. She served nearly a decade with a commercial agency in Dallas and has spent the last eight years providing data solutions to collection agencies, law firms, private investigators and skip-tracing firms. She speaks at conferences and seminars and is published in the field.
David Gibson (’92 M.B.A.), Dallas, has been named a director with Buck Consultants, a global human resources consulting firm. He has 18 years of experience in compensation, benefits and rewards strategy for large international clients. He also serves as an adjunct instructor of finance at several colleges.

Cathy R. Dudley (M.S.), Littleton, Colo., moved back to Colorado from Austin in 2006 to accept a position as sales assistant with the American Water Works Association in Denver.
Kathie Fridel del Hierro, Austin, was selected as the 2007 Hill Country Middle School Teacher of the Year. She is in her fifth year teaching art to students in the sixth through eighth grades at Hill Country in the Eanes ISD.
Peter Juneja, Phoenix, Ariz., was hired as director of finance and administration for BKM Technology Partners in Phoenix. He previously was director of operations for Sportsman’s Fine Wines and Spirits. He received his M.B.A. in international business in 2001 from the University of Phoenix.
