Bill Beames, Palm Desert, Calif., has been retired since 1994 from the advertising industry and previously worked in the pharmaceutical industry. He lived in Thousand Oaks, Calif., and Las Vegas before moving to Palm Desert, where he lives with his wife, Anne.

*Joseph Ryan, Sun Lakes, Ariz., has retired from teaching and administration at Northern Arizona University and Northwest Missouri State University. At Northwest, he served as dean of the College of Education and Human Services for 11 years. He now teaches Spanish as an adjunct faculty member for Chandler-Gilbert Community College. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Missouri in 1972.

Martha Tim Lasseter Latta, San Carlos, Calif., received an Award of Excellence in kitchen design from the California chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers at its annual Design Awards Gala. She is an interior designer specializing in kitchens and bathrooms on the Peninsula south of San Francisco.
