North Texas Exes News
The North Texas Exes have created a calendar with the theme “Twelve Great Moments in North Texas History.” After asking members of the Exes and the UNT community for suggestions, a committee narrowed the list of moments down to a dozen. Among the events featured are the desegregation of North Texas in 1954, the attainment of university status in 1961 and our 100th birthday celebration in 1990. Anyone interested in getting a copy of the calendar can do so by joining the NT Exes. The calendar was distributed to all members in December. Scholarship support The Denton chapter of the NT Exes will hold its fourth annual scholarship auction on Tuesday, March 28, 2006, at 6 p.m. in the UNT Coliseum. The Gulf Coast chapter of the NT Exes will hold its fourth annual scholarship dinner on Wednesday, April 5, 2006, at the Royal Oaks Country Club in Houston.
