Nieman (M.B.A.), Coral Springs, Fla., is the chief executive officer of Remote Video.com, which enables customers to monitor numerous remote locations at the same time from a personal computer. Nieman previously served as senior vice president and general manager for Sensormatic Electronics Corp.

Jean M. Merriell (’88 M.A.), Dallas, and Robert ‘Bob’ C. Vestal (’93 M.S.) were married in Edinburgh, Scotland, in June. Bob is the owner of Parkbench Productions, a web design/documentation company, and Jean is a web designer/business analyst for Texas Instruments in Plano.

Golam M. Ahmed, South Windsor, Conn., is the branch sales officer of Tolland Bank’s South Windsor office. He previously served as the branch sales officer of Tolland Bank’s Ellington office. Ahmed is a member of the South Windsor Lions Club and an associate member of the South Windsor Chamber of Commerce. He serves on the board of Indian Valley YMCA.
