In the summer North Texan, you'll read about an ozone warning program for the Metroplex, debate teams at North Texas, UNT's own version of Patch Adams and the jazz musician behind Schoolhouse Rock.

This year's Homecoming is scheduled for Oct. 12-13, with the Eagles playing the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders in a Sunbelt Conference game Saturday afternoon. To get in the Homecoming mood (the theme this year is "There's no place like home"), check out the Eagle Tale in this issue.
