Gavin DeCuir, Denton, is the singer-lyricist for the electronic pop band Mission Giant. Additional members include keyboardist Shane Culp ('98), Kaufman; keyboard-synth player Aaron Graves ('97, '03 M.S.), Denton; and DJ-percussionist Corbett Sparks ('95), Dallas. The band was formed from the Good/Bad Art Collective, an informal group of UNT art students.

Molly Regal Wood (M.S.), Carrollton, and her husband, Steve, welcomed their first child, Caleb Charles Wood, in March. Molly had worked as a speech pathologist for the Lewisville ISD since graduating from UNT.

Elizabeth Leggieri Bolt, Houston, begins law school in August at South Texas College of Law. She is a former teacher for the Denton and Cypress-Fairbanks ISDs and is married to Stephen Randall Bolt ('03).

Julia Crowson, Lewisville, has received a promotion to marketing manager at Sears Roebuck & Co. in Lewisville.

Amber Hughes (M.P.A.), Denton, is the director of communications for the Denton Area Teachers Credit Union.

Jason Joos and Emily Davis-Joos, Denton, announce the birth of their daughter, Elizabeth Rose, in April 2003. Emily teaches bridging at Flower Mound Elementary and Jason is part of the member services team at the Denton Area Teachers Credit Union.

Reyna Sotelo, Garland, is a bilingual kindergarten teacher. Her husband, Joseph Sotelo ('03), works for Ford Motor Co. Reyna says their 1-year-old son knows he will attend UNT and pledge Lambda Theta Phi.

Natalie Burge, Victoria, is a communications and marketing specialist at the University of Houston-Victoria. She won gold and silver awards for her publication designs in the 19th annual Admissions Advertising Awards competition.

Emily Kattan, Dallas, had a display of photos she took while at the Bethlehem Peace Center featured at the Magnolia Lounge in Dallas' Fair Park and the Dallas Peace Center.

Julie Brierton, Denton, has been appointed the marketing and communications director for the United Way of Denton County.

Calvin Sexton, Dallas, is trombone player and founding member of the Inner City All Stars, a Dallas-based brass band.
