Pat LeMay Burr ('73 Ph.D.), San Antonio, has received a Fulbright Senior Specialist Award for work at the Ton Duc Thang University of Technology in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Burr is vice president for international programs at the University of the Incarnate Word.

Rick Berry, Houston, superintendent of the Cypress-Fairbanks ISD, was named the Texas Association of School Administrators' Superintendent of the Year and served as the state's representative in the American Association of School Administrators contest for National Superintendent of the Year for 2004.

Maribeth Brewer Koch, Denton, is a special education teacher at Ryan High School and has worked for Denton ISD since 1986. She is married to Harry Koch ('70, '73 M.Ed.), an industrial technology teacher at Ryan High School who has worked in Denton ISD since 1976.
