Jeffrey Hubbard, Carrollton, joined the Dallas office
of Jardine Lloyd Thompson as senior vice president and environmental practice leader. He and his wife, Victoria Ficarra Hubbard ('89), have two children, Elena and Christian.

Jo Streit (M.A.), San Francisco, Calif., wrote and produced the live portion of the videoconference "Keeping Youth Safe: Strategies That Work to Prevent Violence" for the California Wellness Foundation. The teleconference earned a gold medal in the category of public policy campaigns from the Council on Foundations as part of the council's 2005 Wilmer Shields Rich Awards for excellence in communications.

Ingrid Bolen ( M.S.), Boise, Idaho, is marketing strategist for the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, Division of Health. She works with community and environmental health promotion professionals and in 2004 wrote a statewide secondhand smoke education curriculum for Native Americans. She is married and the mother of "two fantastic boys."

Robin Liles Callan, Austin, and Jeb Callan announce the birth of their first child, Phoebe Parker, born in January. In July 2003 Robin created her own interior design firm, Room Fu, specializing in interior makeovers in Austin.

Scott deMasi, Humble, is celebrating the birth of his daughter, Katherine, and his promotion to southwest regional sales director for McCarty Brokerage Co.

in Hot Springs, has spent much of the last four years working on
a commission for paintings of the Fourteen Stations of the Cross. The preparation drawings and several of the finished oil on board paintings were exhibited in March at Subiaco Abbey in Subiaco, Ark.

John Douthitt, Trophy Club, became assistant general manager of the Houstonian Club in Houston in April.

Darrin Carpenter (M.S.), McKinney, is the national sales manager for Guerbet Pharmaceuticals. He has worked there for two years. He and his wife, Laura, have three children: Evan, 7; Jaden, 4; and Emily Grace, 1.

Kacinda Crump, Cedar Hill, was named 10 p.m. newscast producer at KDFW-TV Fox 4 in Dallas. She previously served as executive producer at KTBC-TV FOX 7 in Austin.

Felisha Redwine Davis, Beaumont, was named special projects coordinator for The Examiner, a national award-winning news-paper. In April 2004, she and her husband, Darin, welcomed their son, Carson, who joins his big sister, Chloe, 6. Felisha says although she's "quite busy with an exciting job and blossoming family," she welcomes mail from UNT friends at davisfamilytexas@sbcglobal.net.

Kristine Farmer, Dallas, was elected president of the National Federation of Paralegal Associations Inc. in April. She is a senior trial paralegal to Keith A. Langley and Todd W. Shadle of the law firm of Godwin Gruber LLP in Dallas.

Theresa Noelle Gray-Clifford, Fort Worth, was named the Fort Worth ISD Secondary Teacher of the Year for 2004-05 and was recognized at a Texas Rangers game. She teaches sixth-grade language arts at J.P. Elder Middle School in Fort Worth.

Eric Link, Dallas, is the chief technology officer for Diabetech, a medical device company focusing on mobile technology. Its glucose monitoring device won the company an award from Frost & Sullivan for Patient Monitoring Niche Competitor of the Year in 2004.

Bonnie Joeb Saleh, Fargo, N.D., has earned her master of science degree in special education at Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Adela Calbillo ('95 M.S.), Houston, graduated from the Harris County Sheriff's Department Academy and will serve as a part-time sheriff's deputy in addition to keeping her full-time job as consumer health librarian at the Houston Academy of Medicine's Texas Medical Center Library.

Stacy Hamilton, Dallas, has been appointed assistant marketing manager for Hawaiian Host Inc., manufacturer of chocolate-covered macadamias. She has more than a decade of product management experience in Texas.

Karen Walton Necciai and Brian Necciai ('02 M.B.A.), Allen, celebrated the birth of twin daughters, Carly Anne and Avery Kate, in December 2004.

Peter Razey, Lake Oswego, Ore., has accepted a position with Progressive Insurance as a territory sales manager. He will cover the state of Oregon promoting the new brand, Drive Insurance From Progressive. He is also a district committee member of the local Boy Scout council, helping boys make their way to Eagle Scout.

Michael Ysasaga, Bartonville, has accepted a position as an associate attorney in the litigation section of the Fort Worth law firm of Kelly, Hart & Hallman PC.

Jennifer Galbreath Florez ('02 M.M.Ed.), Denton, has accepted a position at PS 241 in Brooklyn, N.Y., where she will be teaching elementary music. She and her husband, Alejandro Florez ('03, '05 M.M.), will split their time between teaching and working as freelance musicians.

*Tyler Kuebler ('97 M.M.), South Miami, Fla., received his doctor of musical arts degree from the University of Miami and was appointed to the faculty at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. He and Claire Murray ('93) were married April 3, 2004, in Key West, Fla.

Justin Schmitt (M.J.), Third Lake, Ill., was appointed director of corporate relations for Allstate Insurance Co., where his responsibilities include media and public relations, community partnerships and internal communications.

Lewis Casey Thompson, Decatur, Ga., received a master of divinity degree and was awarded the Wilds Book Prize, the Presbyterian Women of the Presbytery of St. Andrew Preaching Award and the Fannie Jordan Bryan Fellowship from Columbia Theological Seminary in May. He will serve as associate pastor for congregational life at Idlewild Presbyterian Church in Memphis, Tenn.

Rosella Reyes Ogrodski (M.Ed.), Anaheim, Calif., and her husband, Al, celebrated the birth of their son, Albert Victor Ogrodski III. She also has a new position as the national science and health consultant for Glencoe/McGraw-Hill and is finishing her doctorate in educational technology at Pepperdine University.

Ralph Quanah Stewart, Dallas, received his juris doctor degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock's William H. Bowen School of Law in May. He was associate editor of the UALR Law Review.

Catherine Martin-Kougias, North Richland Hills, was selected as the Elementary Teacher of the Year for the Birdville ISD. She has been teaching for eight years at Grace E. Hardeman Elementary School in Watauga. She served as a first-grade teacher for one year and is currently teaching second grade.

John Kondratick, Alpine, has accepted a position as fire/arson investigator with the State Fire Marshal's Office. His territory covers the West Texas area from Midland to El Paso.

*Miriam Rodriguez (M.S.), Dallas, is multicultural services coordinator for the Dallas Public Library. In March she received
a Library Journal Movers & Shakers Award, given to outstanding librarians.

Amy Evans ('02 M.A.), Irving, is executive director of Cancer Services Network Inc., an Abilene-based non-profit organization that helps provide support to under-served cancer patients and their families in 19 West Texas counties.

Laura Heinz (M.S.), Lubbock, began her new position as senior director for outreach and extramural services at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Libraries in May.

Lidan Lin (Ph.D.), Fort Wayne, Ind., received tenure and was promoted to associate professor of English at Indiana University-Purdue University.

Laura Chamberlin Ringrose (M.Ed., '04 Ed.D.), Allen, received the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education Outstanding Dissertation Award in February. She is the principal of Amy Parks-Heath Elementary School.

Charlotte McMillen (M.B.A.), Garland, has been recognized as an Outstanding Course Leader by the American Institute for CPCU and the Insurance Institute of America. She is a senior claims representative for Unitrin Property and Casualty Insurance in Dallas.
