UNT jazz alumni gathered Friday night for the first ever Homecoming jazz reunion and jam session.
White rally towels and cups of hot chocolate doubling as hand warmers were popular items with the Homecoming crowd Saturday night as the Mean Green took on the Owls of Florida Atlantic University.

The Aces, formed by long-time music professor Floyd ’Fessor Graham, were the hottest group around, and the band’s alumni group at Homecoming 2009 rocked the Silver Eagle Suite with music from the Big Band Era of the 1940s and 1950s.
Many memories were shared Saturday among more than 35 women who were members of the original Green Jackets, together with eight current members.
With three rings of the Victory Bell, a few hundred UNT Greek students set out on the 2009 Spirit March to the bonfire and yell contest.
