UNT Athletic Hall of Fame breakfast

The coach who led North Texas to its first appearance in the NCAA basketball tournament, UNT’s first All-American volleyball player, and members of the football team that broke the color barrier in college football in the Southwest were among those honored at the annual Athletic Hall of Fame breakfast Saturday morning.

The Aces, formed by long-time music professor Floyd ’Fessor Graham, were the hottest group around, and the band’s alumni group at Homecoming 2009 rocked the Silver Eagle Suite with music from the Big Band Era of the 1940s and 1950s.
