Hubert W. Dutton (’50), Fort Worth :: He worked as an accountant for Montgomery Ward and Pan American Oil Co. He taught high school business classes in Fort Worth before going to work for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. He accepted a four-year assignment at the Pentagon as liaison for the Air Force budget. He returned to Texas, where he completed his career with HUD as manager of the regional office in San Antonio and taught freelance government accounting classes in Fort Worth. He served during World War II and as a colonel in the Air Force Reserve. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Britt Dutton (’55).
