Gregory Lee Hahn (’74), 74, of Dallas, a high school teacher and mason, died May 26, 2026. At North Texas, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in education, he played football and was an active member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. In 1972, Greg was honored for demonstrating excellence in both athletics and academics.

After college, Greg was considered as a potential NFL draft candidate. He decided, however, that creating change as a high school educator was a better fit and spent several years in dedicated service. He would later develop his trade skills and work as a mason, which was a tradition in his family.

Greg enjoyed food (Mexican food especially) and welcomed a good cup of coffee. He had a passion for music that he shared with his family and enjoyed taking adventurous walks, at one point crossing from one end of Richardson to the other, just for the fun of it.
