Donald Rudell Marth (’62 M.S.), Monte Vista :: He worked as a doctor with a private practice in adolescent psychology in San Antonio, and was an expert witness for Social Security disability hearings for 30 years. Before his practice, he served in the Texas National Guard Reserves and then worked at the State Hospital in Galveston. He was active in the Knights of Columbus and sang with the San Antonio Liedernkranz. Marth was known for his Texas Pecan sheet cake, dutch oven cobblers and cornbread, and he frequently wore a 10-gallon cowboy hat and colored boots. At North Texas, he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon. He was a lifetime member of the UNT Alumni Association.
