Donald Birmingham (’74 Ph.D.), Searcy, Ark. :: He served in Vietnam as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps and retired as a colonel from the U.S. Army Reserve, having served in the Persian Gulf War. His military honors included the Army Commendation Medal for service as an instructor with the behavioral science department at the Army School of Health Services at Fort Sam Houston. He provided family and rehab counseling in Searcy for 32 years.
