Betty Magee (’48), La Feria :: She earned a journalism degree at North Texas and furthered her education at the University of Colorado in Boulder. She was a teacher for 27 years in Fort Worth, Mercedes and La Feria. She later worked for Go With Jo Tours as a tour guide and worked for the city of La Feria as a librarian. She was a member of the La Feria Baptist Church for more than 50 years.
