Arthur Lee Buchanan (’57), Washington, D.C. :: After graduation, he began a career in interior design in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. His career was interrupted in 1961 when, following the sudden death of his father, he returned to Denton to manage the family business, the Super Dog Drive In, until his younger siblings finished school. He went on to pursue his profession in Dallas and Washington, D.C. He was retired from the Hirshhorn Museum, a unit of the Smithsonian Institution.
