Denton’s Quakertown Park was host  to more than 2,700 musicians, artists and performers and about 220,000 visitors during this year’s Denton Arts & Jazz Festival April 23-25.

The festival’s new UNT-sponsored stage showcased the diversity of the renowned College of Music, with everything from fusion/funk, African drumming, Latin jazz and mariachi music to keyboard, trombone and guitar ensembles, jazz singers and all nine lab bands — almost 30 UNT groups in all.
