Graduate students are critical to UNT’s success as an emerging research university. And to ensure UNT continues to attract even more of the nation’s brightest advanced students, Michael Monticino was named dean of UNT’s Robert B. Toulouse School of Graduate Studies.
Monticino, who has been serving as interim dean since January, joined the UNT faculty in 1990 as a mathematics professor and most recently served as an associate dean in the College of Arts and Sciences.
UNT’s graduate students work side-by-side with committed faculty in 150 master’s and doctoral degree programs.
