A great professor

I was sad to see the obituary for Dr. Ralph Culp ("Friends We'll Miss," summer 2012). I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Culp and the dance and drama department while I was getting my master's degree in library science from 1987 to 1988.

I worked in the costume shop and the departmental office and assisted with a production of Noel Coward's Private Lives he directed during the summer.

He was a wonderful man and a great professor. He made my time at UNT go quickly and he even "hooded" me at graduation. He will be remembered by this alum!
