Emeritus College helps adults over 50 keep learning

Designed for adults ages 50 and older, UNT's Emeritus College offers courses, lectures, field trips and travel learning opportunities for those wanting to enrich their lives. Launched in 2009, the college offers non-credit classes and social networking opportunities for a $110 annual membership fee. Course topics range from fine arts, current affairs, history, social sciences, language and literature to religion and spirituality, health and well being. Classes are taught by UNT emeritus and active faculty as well as area professionals. The Center for Achievement and Lifelong Learning oversees the college, which is offering more than 50 classes this fall, beginning Sept. 8.
