The fall issue of The North Texan was a delight. I am a 1958 graduate of the journalism and history departments.

One of the things that helped me get that degree was the job I had at Voertman's Book Store. It was a pleasure to see a picture of my old boss, Paul Voertman. He still looks great, but he looked even better handing me a paycheck each week.

It's also good to know that an old classmate of mine, Pat Boone, returned to campus.
