I knew Jesús "Jessie" Moroles ("Art in Public Spaces," spring 2015) back in the late '70s when we were both finishing our degrees in the arts. I hadn't talked to him in years, but when I read your article about him, I tracked down his email address and let him know how glad I was for his success.

He sent me the link to view his latest project -- a project he was driving to this summer when he was involved in a tragic accident that took his life.

My condolences to his daughter and the rest of his family. Rest in peace, Jessie.
