When Stephanie Reinke came on board as the director of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UNT in September 2017, she had a clear mission - exceed 500 members and meet other funding criteria by the end of August 2018 in order to be eligible to apply for a $1 million endowment from The Bernard Osher Foundation.
OLLI at UNT not only met that goal but exceeded it with a current membership of more than 600.
"The goal is to make OLLI at UNT financially self-sustaining and this endowment is going to help us do that," Reinke says.
OLLI at UNT offers non-credit courses, events and trips designed by and for adults 50 and better. Get more information about OLLI.
