Doctoral candidate Garima Bajwa's research implements a framework on Android devices to allow people to monitor their brain signals. This spring, she presented her research at the Three Minute Thesis, or 3MT, competition at the Conference of Southern Graduate Schools annual meeting after winning the Toulouse Graduate School's first 3MT competition in November.
At the national competition, students give oral presentations covering their methodology, their major findings and the relevance of their research in no more than three minutes, using one PowerPoint slide.
After graduating this spring, Bajwa plans to continue her research on applications for biomedical data in a teaching or postdoctoral research position.
