Ian Parberry, professor of computer science and engineering, was named a 2015 Distinguished Scientist by the Association for Computing Machinery,
the world's leading association of computing professionals. Distinguished members
were drawn from leading academic institutions and corporate and national research
labs around the world. Parberry is the author of more than 100 technical publications
and has taught game programming to undergraduates since 1993, the year he established
UNT's top-ranked Laboratory for Recreational Computing (LARC).
