The UNT Alumni Association continues to add more opportunities for alumni to network this fall and share their Mean Green Pride, from improved Alumni GameDay Grilles at home football games to away game tailgating and upscale Fall Receptions throughout the region.
A new partnership with alum Ben Esely ('08), owner of Denton's The Bearded Monk, to sell local craft beers at Alumni GameDay Grilles at home football games, will provide a one-of-a-kind UNT experience. (Read more about Esely and other alumni in the beer industry.)
"We're also creating a more family-friendly atmosphere with live music, free food, yard games and face painting," says Annie Carter, director of alumni affinity programming, "proving that the UNT Alumni Pavilion is the place to be for the entire Mean Green family."
Current members, and one guest per member, receive free admission. Day passes are available on-site for $10 per person. Kids 12 and under are free.
Also, this year the association is hosting a dine-in Alumni at the Bonfire event at the pavilion Nov. 4 during Homecoming week to watch student performances and the lighting of the bonfire. Make reservations early as space is limited.
And the four newly created regional chapters in DFW have scheduled the second annual set of Fall Receptions.
