Wesley Phelps

Wesley G. Phelps (’04 M.A.), The Woodlands shows how President Lyndon B. Johnson’s Great Society initiatives were implemented in the 1960s and 1970s in the book A People’s War on Poverty: Urban Politics and Grassroots Activists in Houston (University of Georgia Press). He is assistant professor of history at Sam Houston State University.
