Walter Ellis

Walter L. Ellis (’66 M.A.), Pearland retired after 33 years as an Episcopal priest in the Diocese of Texas, serving churches in Gladewater, Longview, League City and Houston. Before entering the ordained ministry, he worked in the Lunar Receiving Laboratory at the Johnson Space Center in the Apollo and Skylab programs. He earned his Master of Divinity from Virginia Theological Seminary and his Doctor of Ministry from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Susan, enjoy being near their children and grandchildren.
