Troy Bethley

TROY Y. BETHLEY (M.Ed., ’17 Ed.D.), Lake Charles, La., wrote the children’s book My New Grandmother, which chronicles young children who watch their older relatives cope with dementia. Troy is an elementary school principal whose own mother was diagnosed with dementia and wrote the book so youngsters can create “new memories” with their relatives.
