Tracy Carr (’95), Jackson, Mississippi, edited the book Conversations with Ellen Gilchrist, featuring interviews with the late novelist. Tracy is a former English instructor and librarian who has earned her master’s degree in English from Mississippi State University and master’s degree in library and information studies from the University of Alabama. As a librarian, she oversaw several statewide literary programs, such as updating the Mississippi Literary Map in 2017. She is a board member of the Mississippi Book Festival.
