Timothy Kloth

Timothy Kloth (D.M.A.), Springfield, Va. joined the music faculty of the Fairfax County Public Schools in northern Virginia. Previously, he taught music for 25 years in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he studied African drumming with master drummer Oginga Khamisi and performed with the Beyond Infinity Drummers. He also has been elected treasurer of the Middle Atlantic chapter of the American Orff-Schulwerk Association, an organization for music educators, and earned his Level III certification from that organization at George Mason University in Fairfax, Va. He has written middle school guitar and elementary school recorder method books.
