Stephen Wolfinbarger

Stephen M. Wolfinbarger (M.M., ’89 D.M.A.), Kalamazoo, Mich. professor of music at Western Michigan University, received WMU’s 2010-11 Distinguished Teaching Award. He has taught trombone at the university for more than 30 years. In 2009, he received an International Trombone Association Award honoring his career as a teacher and mentor.
