Shawn Schietroma

Shawn Schietroma, Allen was reunited with former classmates — all percussionists — when they performed at the 50th annual Academy of Country Music awards ceremony at Dallas’ AT&T Stadium in April. He is shown second from right along with (from left) Aaron Lyons, Brian West (’92), Robert Anderson (’94), Jim Riley (’97) and Quiyan Murphy (’96). The ceremony broke the world record for the largest attended awards ceremony. Phil McGraw (’76 M.A., ’79 Ph.D.) also presented an award at the ceremony.
