Shadan Price (’13), Denton won Most Unique Menu at the Food Truck Championship of Texas in June for a food truck she runs in Denton. Leila’s Food Truck serves vegetarian Middle Eastern fusion cuisine, including grilled falafel burgers and potato poppers with added spices. Shadan is a former art teacher and sous chef/supervisor at Mean Greens vegan dining hall.
