Scott Blanchette

Scott Blanchette (M.S.), Nashville, Tennessee, will be inducted into the 2022 CIO Hall of Fame in August. He has served as chief information officer for Healthways, Vanguard Health Systems, Kindred Healthcare, myNEXUS and Compassus. Now retired, he is working on an oral history collection of the air war over Vietnam. When he was a history graduate student at UNT, he worked on the oral history projects about Pearl Harbor and Iwo Jima with Ronald Marcello, Adrian Lewis and the late Peter Lane. But his favorite UNT memory is meeting his wife, Colleen Hammett Blanchette (’99).
