Richard Watts

Richard E. Watts (Ph.D.), Huntsville distinguished professor of counseling education at Sam Houston State University, was named a Regents Professor by the Texas State University System for his performance and contributions to the educational community. Throughout his 25-year career in counseling, he has published six books, 27 book chapters and 130 scholarly articles. He has served as president of the North American Society for Adlerian Psychology, is a fellow of the American Counseling Association and has won awards from the Texas Counseling Association.
