Pam Smith (Ph.D.), Sycamore, Ill. professor of accountancy at Northern Illinois University, received the 2008 Outstanding Educator Award from the Illinois CPA Society and the 2009 American Accounting Association Innovation in Accounting Education Award. She was selected as the first to hold the title of KPMG Endowed Professor at NIU.
