Michael Lozano

Michael A. Lozano, Garland has been employed as a photojournalist with CBS 11 KTVT in Dallas-Fort Worth for 18 years. He has been the recipient of many awards, including two Emmy Awards, two Press Club of Dallas Katie Awards and three Stephen Philbin Awards. He earned his first Emmy in 2003 from the Lone Star chapter of the National Television Academy for outstanding general report on "The Immigrants Story." Later, he was the recipient of a 2010 Lone Star Emmy award for the story "Rocky Top Therapy: Horses, Healing & Hope." His Stephen Philbin Awards from 2011 to 2013 are for excellence in legal reporting. He continues to work for CBS-11 KTVT as a photojournalist for the investigation team. He was a radio, television and film major at UNT.
