Lorene Holmes

Lorene Barnes Holmes (M.B.Ed., ’70 Ed.D.), Hawkins retired from Jarvis Christian College after a 49-year career and was named Professor Emeritus. The college also named the Dr. Lorene Barnes Endowed Scholarship in her honor. In addition to visiting her children, grandchildren and other relatives and friends, she is concentrating on writing a book and also has a business, Lorene’s Gifts.
