Lisa Thomas

Lisa Thomas (D.M.A.), Anna completed her first professional label CD, released by Toccata Classics in London, featuring first recordings and first complete recordings of solo piano music by American composer Arthur Farwell. After numerous performances and lecture recitals, she joined the faculty of Austin College in Sherman as the college organist,  instructor of the ethnomusicology course “Native American Music and Culture of North America,” and organ instructor. She also is the organist and pianist for Covenant Presbyterian Church in Sherman and maintains a small private teaching studio of piano students. She received her doctorate in piano performance with a related field in ethnomusicology.
