Laura Vokey (’20), Carrollton, is on the visual staff with the Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps who won the 2025 Drum Corps International World Class Championship. Her focus is in music education with a specialization in the trombone, and she has served as the associate band director at Tidwell Middle School in Roanoke since 2021. Before graduating, she played in the UNT Brass Band, Concert Band, Trombone Choirs, Lab Bands and the Mean Green Brigade.
