Laini Smith Giles ('98), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada released her third novel, The It Girl and Me (part of the Forgotten Actresses series) in March. The book depicts the topsy-turvy life of the secretary to actress Clara Bow, the woman they called "The It Girl." Laini previously wrote The Forgotten Flapper: A Novel of Olive Thomas and also worked as a technical writer.
