Kim Charlson (M.S.), Watertown, Mass., director of Perkins Braille amp; Talking Book Library, traveled to the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C., in June to accept a national award on behalf of her staff and volunteers. The library was named the 2008 Network Library of the Year by the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped.
