Kaylen Howard

Kaylen Howard, Arlington was part of the Carnegie-Knight News21 team that won the Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award given to outstanding reporting on issues that reflect human rights and social justice. Kaylen worked on the organization’s program, “Hate in America,” in which 38 journalism students from 19 universities traveled around the country to produce stories, a documentary film and a podcast about the life cycle of hate. The project was spearheaded by the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University.
