Jay Weber (’75 M.B.A.), Round Rock :: celebrated his 40th year as a member of the Professional Association of Diving Instructors. He received his entry-level diver training in 1972 at North Texas, where his first scuba course took place at the outdoor swimming pool alongside the Student Union and was taught by gymnastics coach William “Bill” Cornelius. Inspired by those adventures, Jay went on to achieve the PADI level of Master Scuba Diver Trainer and has taught countless students from entry-level diver through assistant instructor. He says he is actively teaching with no plans to slow down.
