James Jorgenson

James H. Jorgensen (’70 M.S.), Boerne :: was named Emeritus Professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 2014. Until partially retiring in April 2014, he served as professor of pathology, medicine (infectious diseases), microbiology and immunology and clinical laboratory sciences and was director of the Clinical Microbiology Laboratory of University Hospital for 38 years. In 2007, he was named Distinguished Alumnus of the University of Texas Medical Branch Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences in Galveston, where he earned his Ph.D. in 1973.
