Eddie Dees

Eddie John Dees Sr. and Jatis Perryman Dees (’53), Porter :: celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in December. They met in college while earning their music degrees. During the 1960s, they performed in the Eddie Dees Combo, playing jazz and the genre now called “old standards.” They spent most of their careers educating students. All three of their children attended UNT.
