David E. Klement, Bradenton, Fla. was sworn in to a four-year term as commissioner for the Florida Public Service Commission in January. He has spent more than 40 years in the journalism field, serving as editor for The Bradenton Herald, The Detroit Free Press and The Daily Oklahoman.
