Daniel Garcia (’08), Vancouver, is an actor and producer who recently wrote, executive produced and starred in the short film Separate Roads, which appeared in several film festivals in St. Louis, Mexico City and Los Angeles this summer. It won Best Short Film at the LGBTQ+ Toronto and LA Film Festivals. Based on true events from Daniel’s life, the film depicts the bittersweet reunion between former high school sweethearts Daniel and Tyler. Daniel has appeared in the animated series Dream Defenders as well as the TV shows Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Mr. Robot and Succession.
